Helpful hints for Fudge Icing Mix:

Hint 1:

"Doubling the Recipe"
If you double the mixture make sure you double the butter

- but don't double the water. Add the water 1 tablespoon at a time until

you achieve a perfect glossy smoothness.

Hint 2:

"Mix Well"

Make sure you mix in the butter to an even coloured dough before you add the water

1 tablespoon at a time mixing well between each to a smooth glossy fudge icing.

Hint 3:

"Easy to Ice Cupcakes and Muffins"

Tip the cupcake or muffin upside down into the pottle of freshly made Granny Delicious Icing and twist to ice.

If the icing starts to set before you fnish pop it in the microwave for 5 seconds and stir.

Hint 4:

"Butter or Dairy Free"

For a dairy free alternative - try Margarine or Coconut Oil as an alternative to butter.

Hint 5:.

"Delicious Hand Made Chocolate Fillings"

If you leave out the water stage you can use the mixture for chocolate fillings.

Hint 6:.

"Leftover Icing"

Leftover icing can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Microwave for 10 seconds and stir to bring back to freshly made.

Helpful hints for Cake Mix:

Hint 7:.

"Bang the Tins"

Before you place your cake in the oven bang the tin on the bench a few times to remove the air bubbles.

This is super helpful in stopping your cake from falling in the middle.

Hint 8:.

"Heating the Oven"

Always heat the oven to the correct temperature before putting the cake in the oven.

For best results wait at least another 10 mins after the oven has reached the correct temperature to ensure an even heat.

Hint 9:.

"Dont Over Beat"

Once the flour has been added, don't over beat the mixture or it will loose its air and lightness.
