Super Easy Tiramisu

TIRAMISU in just 10 minutes with my White Chocolate Mousse Mix.

Recipe...

Usually this dessert requires you to separate eggs, make a custard then fold that into another mixture with whipped cream and mascarpone cheese…and that is just the first step, phew! But all you need to make the filling for a Granny Delicious Tiramisu is fresh cream, mascarpone cheese, and my White Chocolate Mousse Mix. Simply blend these ingredients together, and layer with sponge fingers dipped in coffee. Perfect for any dinner party or family dessert.

Ingredients: 1 packet of Granny Delicious White Chocolate Mousse Mix 300ml whipping cream – beat until soft peaks. 200g mascarpone cheese (see substitute idea below) 1 tablespoon Amaretto liquor or Brandy (optional but yummy!) 1 ½ cups espresso or STRONG coffee at room temperature 200g package Vittoria Sponge Fingers. (or similar) Cocoa powder for dusting the top

Simple Directions: Make up the White Chocolate Mousse Mix to the instructions on the packet and set aside to cool. Fold in the mascarpone cheese and the whipped cream (and if you choose, amaretto). Dip the sponge fingers in the coffee just quickly (don’t soak them) and place in the bottom of a medium sized deep dish to make the first layer. Spread half of the whipped cream mixture on top of first layer of sponge fingers. Repeat process with second layer of sponge fingers and top with the cream mixture. Smooth the top out and dust the top with a good thick coating of cocoa powder using a sifter. Cling wrap and refrigerate for about 4-8 hours (it gets even better in the fridge and is a perfect make-ahead dessert). Serves 8.

(Mascarpone Cheese Substitute: Cream together 6 oz. softened cream cheese, 2 Tablespoons sour cream, and 3 Tablespoons heavy cream)
